Suddenly It’s Bare Season – The New York Times

Who hasn’t had the nightmare? It’s the one about being caught in public dressed in your undies. Therapists and dream bibles tend to cast these dreams as symbolic expressions of shame or repression.

Yet what if the so-called experts are wrong and these dreams are instead a subconscious bid for liberation? Shed the embarrassment along with those constricting outer garments. Go forth proudly in your turtle-print boxers or your Cosabella bra.

Lady Kitty Spencer’s wedding dress has been revealed after she got married to billionaire fashion businessman Michael Lewis.

The model, who is the daughter of Diana Princess of Wales’s brother Earl Spencer, tied the knot with the tycoon wearing a decadent Victorian-inspired Dolce and Gabbana gown in Italy

Dolce and Gabbana said the lace bridal gown was created exclusively for Lady Kitty, 30, “on the most important day of her life”.

Sexual freedom after Orthodox life

Although she has created lingerie for the bodies of Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow, fashion mogul Julia Haart was a late bloomer.

“The first orgasm I had was at age 35 — with a vibrator, after 16 years of marriage,” the 50-year-old told The Post. “I never heard of an orgasm, let alone a vibrator.”

Haart’s cluelessness was no fault of her own. Born Talia Leibov, she was raised in a Haredi Jewish Orthodox community in Monsey, New York. She married at 19 and raised four children in the insular upstate enclave.

But eight years ago, she left the “fundamentalist”

A New Model for Funding Fashion Start-Ups | BoF Professional, News & Analysis

It was only a couple of months after Allegra Shaw and Shirin Soltan launched their sustainable clothing label, Uncle Studios, when they hit cash flow issues.

They had used their own funds to start their brand in late 2017, and much of that went to manufacturers. The duo had hoped a bank loan would cover marketing and other costs in order to scale, but lender after lender turned them down.

“When you’re an entrepreneur and you’re young, banks don’t trust you with loans,” said Shaw, who is based in Toronto. “We weren’t eligible to get enough money.”

Months later, Shaw
